A villa of the FAI (Italian Environmental Fund) at the foot of the Euganean Hills: Villa dei Vescovi is a beautiful villa of the sixteenth century, designed by the curia of Padova as a summer residence of the bishop. The villa is one of the finest examples of the Venetian Renaissance villas. Besides offering the possibility of a day trip through the hills, the villa is near Padua and Abano and Montegrotto spas. The frescoes of the loggia are really unique and are a mix of Roman and Nordic art: there are painted landscapes of ancient taste and “bird’s eye view” of distant marine or rural horizons.

Villa dei Vescovi is an ideal wedding location: the courtyard offers space for a drink outdoor, which can continue on the panoramic terraces or under the frescoed loggia. The wedding reception can take place in the great eighteenth-century salon or in the rooms.  Two suites are also available for the wedding night. We remind you, then, that those who marry here will support the FAI and the wonderful natural and artistic Italian heritage.

The villa is located in a park surrounded by vineyards, where you can relax and have a picnic in a romantic atmosphere.
The villa will be opened also during the FAI Summer Evenings with some concerts.
Elegance, refinement and romance are the right words to describe this villa surrounded by a great landscape!
